Calgary, Alberta – May 26, 2015 – GuestTek announces the addition of a seasoned executive leader in hotel business and technology. Beginning in Calendar Q3, Ken Barnes will be joining the hospitality technology provider as Senior VP of Client Relations. In his role, Ken will be applying his considerable industry knowledge to driving even greater success for GuestTek’s customers.

Mr. Barnes comes to GuestTek from White Lodging Services. For over 20 years he has served the hotel development and management company in such roles as: VP of Information Technology, Director of IT, IT Manager, Internal Audit Manager, and various Accounting positions. His responsibilities have included new build design and implementation, network management, IT capital planning, and helpdesk administration. He has overseen the IT operations and capital budgets for more than 165 hotels.

Ken Barnes holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University. He serves on several technology advisory committees for major hotel brands and the advisory council for
HITEC, where he has been a past Chairperson. Ken is frequently asked to speak at hospitality technology conferences and workshops.
