David Simpson (C.A.)

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Mr. Simpson joined the organization in January 2007. Initially as Senior Controller, and then elected to Chief Financial Officer in October of 2008. He attained his M.A. in Accounting from Aberdeen University in 1991 and holds a number of professional Certifications, achieving CA recognition in Scotland in 1994 and in Canada in 1997. He is also a member of both the ICAS (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) and ICAA (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta). From 1991 to 1998 Mr. Simpson worked as a Senior Accountant in a number of Public Accounting firms in both Canada and Scotland and between 1998 to 2008 enjoyed a number of successful periods as financial controller within the High Tech and Hospitality industry sectors.
